The city of Lexington, located in the Bluegrass Region of the state, bills itself as the horse capital of the world. This horse crazy city is home to the Kentucky Horse Park, a working horse farm and education theme park that is the only one of its kind in the world.

Though Kentucky is not one of the largest states, its geography is very diverse and most of the state enjoys a moderate, four-season climate.
