Home Features
- The main house was crafted from new construction and woven within a circa 1798 log home, dismantled and moved from Kentucky and reassembled alongside the Chattahoochee river. Rustic charm and character flow throughout the home to create a cozy haven with touches of old and modern conveniences to create the perfect mix. The "key stone" pieces were used from the 1798 cabin in the masonry fireplace that is a focal point and beckons you to sit beside a roaring fire. The spacious kitchen is equipped with modern conveniences, granite counter tops, Ash wood cabinets and upgraded appliances. The primary bedroom is on the main level and is filled with warmth from the natural wood vaulted ceiling, large plank floors and sunlight from the large windows overlooking the river. The original area of the log home now serves as the living area and loft area. Amish milled Black Locust flooring, Yellow Poplar flooring, Hickory flooring and River Birch flooring flow throughout the house to create the warmth within. The glassed-in sunporch will mesmerize you as it gazes over the river and is independently heated and has a small wood burning stove. Upstairs boasts a loft area and full bath with additional bedroom. Relax on the wrap around front porch and soak in the serene views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.
